Having grown up 3 miles south of the Muskegon Piers on beautiful Lake Michigan, fishing has always run through my veins. I have fished West Michigan’s lakes and rivers since I was a little boy of 5. Whether chasing our migratory Salmon, Steelhead and Trout on the Great Lakes and rivers, to Tarpon, Permit and Pelagic species in the oceans and flats around the world, fishing is my passion.

My greatest joy in being a fishing guide is fishing with families and inexperienced anglers, helping our younger generation experience the phenomenal fisheries that we have to offer right in our backyard. The most rewarding aspect of being a US Coast Guard Captain is giving you the opportunity to catch the fish of your lifetime on one of our fishing charters.

 I have always had a deep passion for fishing ever since I was very young. Growing up on the lakeshore in Holland Michigan has given me so many opportunities in the fishing community. Fishing has, and will always be, a large part of my life. My absolute favorite thing about working as a fishing guide is the excitement and endless smiles it brings to everyone. I never get tired of watching a guest feel the thrill of the catch. I have several years experience on the Great Lakes including kicking back and relaxing on a pleasure cruise up and down the shoreline or hooking into big King Salmon fishing 10+ miles out on Lake Michigan. I recently obtained my U.S Coast Guard Captain’s license and want to continue pursuing my dreams on the big lake and beyond. I strive to one day have my own charter business and continue to spread the love and knowledge of fishing on the Great Lakes.
